A Suite of Technologies to Recycle or Remediate Water

How Do Ultra3X™ Technologies Work?

Picture

Ultra3X™ offers a service which utilizes multiple technologies and techniques that are unique, exclusive and largely proprietary to process water and either recycle or remediate the water. This is done with a lower CapEx and a reduced OpEx.  We find our solutions are often not just a lower price than others who claim to recycle, but are lower than prospective customers current operations.  Ask us for a quote today and you will see that we can meet your water management needs while saving your company money. There are industries where licenses are available as well as leasing of our equipment.  Lease options provide the lowest cost per unit of fluid processed.

Effluent water from flowback and production, is fed through a collection of organophobic, optimized ceramic membranes

Membranes extract organics and toxins–hydrocarbons and recycled water flow into storage tanks

Ceramic membranes require minimum regular maintenance

There is no requirement to backwash with the MOR or the Magnetic Flocculation and Coagulation Unit.
NO CHEMICALS USED

NO MEDIA USED

No Heat is applied

All processes are low pressure-20-35 PSI

We take ownership/responsibility for waste

All of our units are scalable and are typically manufactured to be skid-based and mobile.  They can also be placed on barges, boats and other watercraft.  They are also modular in the sense that they are designed to allow for quick placement and operation.  The units are "plug and play" in that the connections between the various units and equipment are standard and allow for quick connection and start-up of operations.   With appropriate preparation for power and water connection and unit location, we can be operating at full processing speed within 4 hours of arriving on site.

Our nanotechnologies take on different aspects of the water problem:
The Molecular Organic Rejection (MOR) technology utilizes optimize ceramic membranes to reject organics such as bacteria, hydrocarbons, and other toxic materials found in water used in oil and gas including flowback and produced water.  Technology protected by Trade Secret. The largest unit can process 8-10,000 bpd.

The Hydro Magnetic Flocculation and Coagulation Unit (HMFC or Mag Floc), employs the use of magnetics and a catalyst to flocculate dissolved particles of metals and minerals, such as chlorides or salinity.  We coagulate the substances and precipitate them while maintaining a continuous flow of water.  This part of the process reduces typical TDS ( Total Dissolved Solids) up to 80-95%. Technology protected by trade secret. The largest unit can process 10-15,000 bpd.

Finally, we employ Ultra-filtration with a .01 Micron pore size, with continuous backwash and continuous flow to remove 99.9% of any remaining TSS ( Total Suspended Solids).  This is also a "fail-safe" for removing any bacteria. Technology protected by US Patent filings.  This unit can process 18,000 bpd.

We also use many other water management techniques and configurations, both proprietary and otherwise, that are used to meet the needs of each customer's requirements and needs.

" . . .  The solution that will make water reuse a reality in fracking operations is the one that will accommodate the variable nature of frac water, process high volumes in a cost-effective manner, and treat it to reuse requirements.”
