Handling the contaminated water includes disposal wells, with contingent liabilities, links to "seismicity" and political issues and public relations issues. The re-use of production water in dirty “slick fracks,” without effective processing to remove organics, bacteria, hydrocarbons and reducing TDS can cause EOR injectivity issues, reservoir contamination and increased operational pressures, as well as, future governmental intervention. ULtra3X's™ solution for the industry is our SERVICE using our "suite of technologies" to recycle flowback and production water for reuse in EOR, gel fracking, clean slick frack operations or hybrid fracks. Ultra3X removes organics (including bacteria/hydrocarbons), vastly reduces TDS and TSS including chlorides, boron, iron and other metals and minerals to desired levels. The water may be used in EOR, gel fracs or hybrid fracks. Reduce or eliminate well-side chemical treatment of raw fresh water, saving money in chemicals, personnel and equipment. Eliminates the use of dangerous Chlorine Dioxide gas, saves time while encouraging safe, efficient and low-cost operations.

REMOVES BACTERIA AND HYDROCARBONS. We reduce bacteria, hydrocarbons and organics to “non-detectable” levels.
LOW COST/ECONOMICAL. With an incredibly LOW OP-EX for our processes we can offer incredibly low pricing depending on the requirements of the customer. Since we use NO CHEMICALS there is no chemical cost other than to occasionally de-scale as needed. Since we use NO MEDIA there is no cost for media, delivery of media, labor to manage media and media beds, no cost for disposal of media. Removal of organics such as hydrocarbons and bacteria can be achieved for as low as $.20 to $.50 per barrel depending on requirements and volumes. The greater the volume the greater the savings.
DRAMATIC TDS and TSS REDUCTION. Our technologies result in a vast reduction of Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), including chlorides, metals and minerals. Testing with the Environmental and Energy Research Center (EERC)-University of North Dakota show 280,000 ppm TDS reduced to 30,000 ppm and lower. For some producers a TDS/Chloride level of 20,000 to 30,000 ppm inhibits bacteria growth and freezing and a weight of approx. 9.5 to 10.5 lb water for use in fracking or well maintenance in wells with high TDS levels. Reduction of TDS up to 80-95% and reduction of TSS by 99.9%.
FULLY SCALABLE TO ANY REQUIRED VOLUME. Units can work at high volumes 8000 to 12,000 BPD. Processing lines are set up in parallel for as much fluid volume and throughput as needed by the customer.
ENVIRONMENTALLY MINDED. Recycling of water allows for re-use in fracking or well maintenance, which reduces salinity and fuels the conversation around smart green recycling practices.
"PLUG and PLAY" or MOBILE AND MODULAR. Our units are available on skids or wheels and can be used on site, well side, in a permanent water park or water plant or other location. Our units, tanks and equipment are modular in design and "plug and play." The configuration of equipment can be changed easily. All standard inputs and outputs are camlock fitted and interchangeable. With a little preparation, we can arrive on site, place our units, connect to fluid flow and electricity and be operating at full capacity within 4 hours.
